# Buying a Dedicated Server

> Order a dedicated server from the Dashboard. Delivery time depends on stock — usually a few hours, sometimes up to a business day.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Go to the Servers shop">
    From the Dashboard, open **Shop → Servers**.

    Scroll past the VPS plans to see the dedicated server line-up.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Pick a plan">
    Click the plan you want. Each plan card shows the full hardware spec — CPU, RAM, storage, bandwidth.

    <Info>
      If a plan card shows **Out of stock**, it means there's no available unit at the moment. [Contact us](mailto:team@quantumproxies.net) and we'll let you know when stock is back.
    </Info>
  </Step>

  <Step title="Configure your server">
    On the detail page, choose:

    * **Billing period** — 1 month, 3 months, or 6 months. Longer periods come with a discount.
    * **Operating system** — Linux distribution or Windows Server.
    * **Hostname** — a label for your machine.

    <Tip>
      You don't set a password here — we **auto-generate a secure random password** during provisioning and show it to you in the Dashboard once the server is ready. You can change it any time via **Reset Password**.
    </Tip>
  </Step>

  <Step title="Pay">
    Click **Buy** and complete payment via **Stripe** (card) or **Cryptomus** (crypto).

    Your order is registered immediately and queued for provisioning.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Wait for delivery">
    Dedicated servers take longer to provision than VPS because we configure physical hardware. Typical delivery:

    * **Usually under a few hours** if stock is ready.
    * **Up to a business day** for less common configurations.

    You'll see your server in **Dashboard → Servers** with a **Provisioning…** status. Once it's ready, the status flips to **Active** and connection details appear.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Connect">
    Open the server from **Dashboard → Servers** to see:

    * The public **IP address**.
    * Your **username** (Linux: depends on distro; Windows: `Administrator`).
    * The **auto-generated password** for the initial login (you can copy it, or change it via **Reset Password**).
    * SSH / RDP connection details.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## Need a custom configuration?

If none of the listed plans match what you need (different CPU, more RAM, multiple disks, custom networking, dedicated IP ranges), [contact us](mailto:team@quantumproxies.net) with your requirements and we'll quote a custom build.
