# Overview Static Proxies

> Static proxies are fixed IP addresses delivered to you on a subscription. Unlike residential proxies, the IP doesn't change — and you're billed monthly rather than by traffic.

Static proxies give you **dedicated, unchanging IP addresses** that stay yours for the life of your subscription. They're the right choice when you need a stable identity, predictable performance, and no per-GB metering.

We offer two kinds of static proxies:

* **ISP (Static Residential) Proxies** — IPs registered to real Internet Service Providers but hosted in datacenters. They combine the trust of residential IPs with datacenter speed and stability.
* **Datacenter Proxies** — IPs hosted entirely in datacenters. The fastest and most cost-effective option when raw speed matters more than residential trust.

## How they differ from Residential

* **Static (ISP / Datacenter)** → Subscription-based, fixed IPs delivered automatically after purchase. Billed **monthly**.
* **Residential** → One-time bandwidth packages generated on demand. Billed by **traffic used (GB)**.

<Info>
  With static proxies you pay a flat monthly subscription for the IPs themselves — there's no bandwidth meter. With residential you pay for the data you push through.
